Lightning: Sending and Replying to Patient Messages

With the Branded Clinic App, the clinic can send and reply to patient messages.

Starting a new message thread

  • Go to a Patient's Contact record

  • Click Related


  • Scroll to the Messages section


  • Click New Message


  • Enter a message in the Message field. (Currently, only text is supported.)


  • Click Save

Replying to a message

  • Go to a Patient's Contact record

  • Click Related


  • Scroll to the Messages section


  • Click on a message


  • Click Reply


  • Enter a message


  • Click Reply
