Certain states require certain products to be charged a sales tax. Jasmine provides the ability to configure a sales tax rate and the products to apply the rate to.

Configuring Sales Tax Rate

1. Click Setup
   
   
   

2. In the setup menu, search for "Custom Settings" or go to Build->Develop->Custom Settings
   
   
   

3. Click on Custom Settings
   
   
   

4. Click on Manage next to Receipt Config
   
   
   

5. Click Edit
   
   
   

6. Edit the Sales Tax Rate
   
   
   

7. Click Save
   
   
   

Apply Sales Tax to a Product

1. Go to a product and check the Add Sales Tax checkbox
