Enabling Email Reminders
Click All Tabs link (the + sign)
Click the Online Configuration Tab
Click the Enable button under Enable Appointment Reminder and Follow up Emails
A success message should appear.
Configuring Email Reminders
When an appointment is scheduled, an email confirmation is sent to the patient to confirm the appointment. In addition, a reminder email is sent 1 day, by default, before the appointment. Below are steps to configure the email reminder.
Go to Setup
Search for “custom settings”
Click on Custom Settings
Click Manage next to Calendar Config
Change Email Reminder (Days) and Save
